DALLAS, TX, April 26, 2024 – The Arts District Chorale is excited to announce a partnership with Vet Tix (vettix.org) to provide free concert tickets to veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families. This collaboration supports our mission to heighten the awareness of vocal ensemble music in North Texas and to honor those who have served by offering enriching cultural experiences.

Vet Tix is committed to reducing stress, strengthening family bonds, building lifelong memories, and encouraging community engagement for service members and veterans. Reintegration from military to civilian life can be challenging, with many veterans facing difficulties readjusting. By offering tickets to a variety of events, Vet Tix helps combat isolation, fosters community reintegration, and strengthens family ties through shared activities.

Through this partnership, the Arts District Chorale will donate concert tickets to Vet Tix, making performances accessible to all branches of the military and veterans, including the families of troops killed in action (KIA). Vet Tix secures tickets to events nationwide, and veterans can sign up online, verify their service, and request tickets, paying only a small delivery fee.

“We are honored to partner with Vet Tix and support our nation’s heroes,” said Becky Barnes, Marketing Director of the Arts District Chorale. “We believe music has the power to heal and unite, and we look forward to sharing our performances with those who have served our country.” To learn more about Vet Tix and request tickets, visit vettix.org.
